My holiday story

Yes! Finally the school term has finished! I can’t wait to get home.

One cold winters day my brothers and I were invited to go to climbzone in Panmure for Sylis’s birthday as he was turning nine. As we got ready it was just a mad scrambling about trying to get ready for the event. Luckily we were organised by the time they arrived! What a relief we made it just in time!

When we got to the climb zone we were showed by the instructors what to do to get clipped on  and then we were off. It was so loud it was like a bomb had gone off in there. Raymond and I discovered a cave that you could climb in that the footholds glowed in the dark. Raymond and I were challenging each other to climb all of the walls before we went home. We were almost finished when we called in to eat. When we climbed up those stairs I was so hungry I nearly got up all of them in one step!

When we got to the top we found that they had bought they had assembled on the table pizza, chips, drinks, cake and other mouth watering foods that made me want to roll over and beg. We sang happy birthday to him, ate our fill then we were allowed to go back and climb again. Raymond and I went into AdventureLand and started to play tag with one of Sylis’s Uncle when I discovered a secret hiding place and showed it to Sylis, Raymond, Daniel, Alex, Caitlin, A.J and Sylis’s Uncle who all tried to get into it but only Sylis could climb up with me because he could fit.

Sadly Sylis and the others went home after that and I was left with my brothers. We played in adventure land until we went home. I was happy because it was nearly the best day of my life
