Summer Learning Journey Week 1 Day 3 Activity 1
For this activity we have to watch 2 videos on plane safety with the idea of getting some ideas on how to be safe on a plane. I learnt that when the plane is going to crash if there is a seat in front of you then you lean forward and put your head against their seat with your hands in between the seat and your head, while if you have nobody in front of you then you lean until your head is in front of your knees and then put your hands on your head as well. I also learnt that when the plane hits the water you pull a life jacket out from under your seat, pull the red seal off and put the jacket on, only inflating it once you're in the water and blowing into the pipe if it doesn't inflate enough.

Hi Thomas,
It's always so important to listen very carefully to the flight crew instructions when you're flying. I am impressed that you have watched the video clips just as carefully! Have you ever flown in a plane before? If you have, what else can you remember about some of their safety instructions?
Now that you've seen both of the video clips, which one did you like best? Air New Zealand have actually just changed their safety video recently. Now it takes you on a big trip around Northland with a few famous New Zealanders to show you around. Have you seen it yet?
I hope you're enjoying your holidays Thomas. Keep up the awesome blogging and don't forget to check out some of your friends blogs too :-)
Cheers,
Dan.
Hi Thomas
Superb work on this activity. You most likely listened well to the video to learn those things. Keep up the good work.
Daniel
