Hi Thomas,

Converting foreign currencies into NZ dollars can often be quite tricky and confusing. I find that the easiest way to do it is to pop into the bank and they can do it all for you in a flash!

It looks like you might have made a little typo when calculating your South African Rand to NZ dollars. Not a problem though! If you take another look I think you'll see that it's a bit more expensive than $757 NZD :-)

Why do you think some places are more expensive to travel to than others? Sometimes if you book well in advance you can get cheaper airfares, but you have to be pretty quick to get them!
