What if wasps were as big as cars

If wasps were as big as cars it would be frightening but then it would depend on which car it was. They are very deadly enough being miniscule. If it was the size of a mini then it would be dangerous. If it was the size of a two wheel drive it would be very deadly. If it was the size of a four wheel drive they would be so deadly that even if 20 people stood in a line there will be enough poison for all of them and some more people. Wasps also have eyes that are divided like a flys so when you looked at them in the eye it would be like watching thousands of T.Vs at the same time. They would also be very deadly because unlike bees they can sting you multiple times. Some wasps also when crushed give off a smell that attracts all the wasps nearby. Anyway, who has a big enough fly swat?

My time at the Festival of Education

These are some photos that I took with Deziree with a camera during the festival of education. There were heaps of people walking around and lots of them visiting us. It was really crowded. I can't wait to see if there will be another one next year.

M&M experiment

Utensils-

Clear cup

M&Ms (You may need more than one in case you want to do it again)

A lot of patience (for it may take a while)

Instructions:

1. Get the glass and fill it with water

2. Place the M&M in the water M facing up

3. Wait and observe what happens. The food colouring should come off the M&M first sinking to the bottom, leaving it white. The white should then come off and float to the top in strips. The M should by now be starting to lift up and floating to the surface. If you are lucky it will be intact if not you might have to try again.

Monday Writing Prompts: My perfect sandwich

My perfect sandwich would have:

Two buns

lettuce

ham

tomato

cucumber

beetroot

butter

How to make it:

I would first butter the buns. Then I would put the ingredients in this order: bun,  lettuce, ham, beetroot tomato and cucumber and another bun on top.

My perfect playground

Theme: Forest where UFO has landed

Flying fox, Slide, Tunnels with glass bubble on end for looking out of, Steering wheel and controls, Ramp for getting up, Plastic alien guns stuck on the wall, Frozen aliens, Binoculars for looking out of the glass bit on top.

My perfect playground would be UFO themed. It would be suspended a metre  from the ground with a ramp for entering with. Inside there would be aliens in spacesuits reaching for the plastic guns stuck to the walls. There would also be spiraling stairs leading to the cockpit where an alien pilot would be at the controls on one seat while another two seats are free. There would also be a hatch that would lead outside to the observation deck where you can use binoculars to look outside.

Previously

Today we read a book called Previously, written by Allan Ahlberg and illustrated by Bruce Ingham.  It was about fairy tale characters and what they had previously been doing (previously means before).  Then we used our imagination to write about what we had previously been doing….

It all started at 1:00 AM

Miss Thomas turned on the class T.V. It was showing the news. It said “A boy has been spotted robbing Westac at 1:00 AM. He may be dangerous so stay away from him.” It then showed a picture of me. Everybody's heads turned and then they ran. Previously I had been counting my gold. Previously I had been taking off my diamond armour and sheathing my sword. Previously I had killed a dragon. Previously I had unsheathed my diamond sword. Previously I had been walking to room 6 when I saw the enderdragon from minecraft guarding a massive pile of gold. Previously I had been walking to running to school as fast as my legs would let me. Previously I had quickly changed into my uniform. Previously I was being chased by the military in my ferrari. They were chasing me for breaking into a bank and taking all the money I could carry (Which was a lot). Previously I had aimed a enchanted diamond bow and arrow at the villagers managing the bank and told them not to move or they will die. Previously I had blown up the front doors with TNT and fire charge. Previously I had been chased by a mob. Previously I had picked up a gold nugget and rotten flesh. Previously there was a zombie pigman he was super annoying so I killed him with one swipe BIG mistake! Previously I had been woken up by a mutant zombie pigman outside my door. Previously I had logged on to minecraft.

Shark division

To play this game you have to know your division facts. You will need: Shark division covers and cards. To play you have to get five cards. You then put a card on the correct equation. The next person can only put his/her card on a equation in a box around it. If you cannot put a card down you pick one up. You keep doing this until one person has no cards left.

Fruit shoot place value

This game that I played was fruit shoot place value. In it you have to click on the fruit with the correct answer. You know what fruit to click on because it shows the number in blocks. My high score is 19 fruit.

To be a peace maker I am going to:
