This is a machine I made using Google Drawings. I designed it so when you put in the item it scans it and puts it in the correct bin.

Great idea, Thomas! What happens to the sorted recyclables? How are they transported back to Earth? Maybe you could design a recycling pod that travels back to Earth once a week.
