A new animal

This is a new animal that has been found in New Zealand. It has been named the Bismon which is short for Bis-Mon-Illa-Antula-Bat. It lives in non-active volcanic craters because it needs the warmth as it gets cold easily. Like a spider it spins webs to catch unfortunate animals that wander into its path such as spiders, bats, flies and even fully grown gorillas! If the prey tries to escape it can fly after it using its bat wings and quickly and stealthily catch it.The horns on its head are for self defence and the flies eyes are for seeing in all four directions at once. It tries to disguise itself but it is too hard for it to stay still as it is easily spotted and avoided. It is known to be carnivorous. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!

Hi Thomas,
Today I have been working with a group of students who are learning to make connections with other students in your class. I really like your Bis-Mon-Illa-Antula-Bat. What website did you use to create your imaginative animal? I've noticed Shannon has used the same website as you. Here is Shannon's creation: http://pbsshannonw.blogspot.co.nz/2014/11/shannon-apllying-activity.html
Keep up the great learning,

From,
Miss Paton
