For this activity we have to research the country that we have chosen and listed some interesting facts about it. One fact was that Albert Einstein, who discovered the general theory of relativity, was born in Ulm in Germany. Another fact is that Ludwig van Beethoven the musical composer was also born in Germany, and also Germany is surrounded by nine other European countries.

Kia ora Thomas,
Great fact hunting! I'm really enjoying reading everyone's blogs and learning so much about all of these different countries. Have you been checking out any of your friends blogs as well? Make sure you do if you get the chance and comment on as many as you like.
It sounds like Germany sure has some famous people from there who have accomplished some pretty incredible feats. Could you imagine if New Zealand was surrounded by 9 different countries? Do you know which countries border Germany? Although it doesn't border Germany, my Dad comes from a country in Europe called Hungary, which makes me half Hungarian. I've never been there, but hopefully I'll make it over one day!
Keep up the great start you've made so far Thomas, awesome work!
Dan.
