Winter Learning Journey Day 3 Activity 1
For this activity we have to choose an Olympic sport and list the name of that sport, the aim of the sport, and two rules for that sport. I chose Trampoline Gymnastics since it is a sport that I don't know anything about. I found out that the aim is to get the most points. You can get more by doing diffucult things, like somersaults, by executing them properly (not failing anything), and staying in the air long.

HI Thomas,
I really like that you have chosen trampolining as your sport! It is very popular in my home country of Canada. In fact, the coach of our Olympic team (Mr. Dave Ross) is reportedly one of the best in the world! I am very excited to watch and see our Canadian trampolinists do this year in Rio. Hopefully they will be able to execute the difficult somersaults and stay up in the air for a very long period of time. Fingers crossed!
When I am watching the Canadian team participate, I will also look out for the New Zealand team. Do you happen to know if there are any athletes from New Zealand who are on the Olympic trampolining team?
Keep up the great work, Thomas!
Best, Rachel :)
Hello Thomas, I have heard of Trampoline Gymnastics before but I have never seen it. It sounds really interesting. Keep up the awesome work this holidays.
