Today during maths my maths group and I solving decimal word problems. To start off we answered 30 basic facts questions to make sure we knew them and I got all of them right, which is a good thing because knowing your basic facts is critical. We also practised on a quick recall website called Hit the Button, which can help you greatly with basic facts. The only bad thing about Hit the Button is that you have to click on the answers, so even if you know the answer you still have to move your mouse over and click on it, meaning that even if you know the answer you can still get it wrong by clicking on something else accidentally. The questions all had something to do with money, and were mostly addition, though some where about how much change people would get (Subtraction).
I am a Year 8 student at Panmure Bridge School in Auckland, NZ. I am in Learning Space 2 and my teachers are Mrs Anderson, and Ms Kirkpatrick.

This sounds like a fun lesson Thomas. I like playing Hit the Button because its a fun way to practise my number knowledge :)
