This is the results of my spelling test. The new word I learnt is Connecticut. I learnt that it is a southerly state of England

Spelling and new word

Today I learnt the meaning of the word penitentary. The dictionary says that it is anther word for a American Prison, or a Roman Catholic Church. The word originates from Late Middle English, or Medieval Latin from between 1375 - 1425.
